The station is sign posted from the town centre.
It is advisable to use the main road and not Mill Lane, as it is very narrow with steep gradients.
Southbound trains to Portsmouth go via the main entrance.
Northbound trains to London go via the subway.
Wheelchair users should go around by road and under the bridge to Northway where the gates are open.
Both sides have ramps, but beware of trains that stop on a curve.
There are no accessible toilets for people using wheelchairs, but there is level access to the ticket office.
There is a car park adjacent to the station.
A refreshment bar off the main entrance hall is open during the day time.
